TRAINING
We offer affordable high quality training for advisers and those working in homelessness.
We have designed a range of training courses in the private rented sector, an area of legislation that is often viewed with trepidation by advisers. We also offer training for landlords in all aspects of the private rented sector.
Training for Support Workers
- Housing Rights – an Introduction for support workers
- Homelessness – options and solutions – an introduction for support workers
We have recently developed two exciting new courses designed for support workers operating under the Supporting People regime. This training is available in the form of single one-day courses or as a two day course that can be run over consecutive days, or spread over time. This was very successfully run for Westcountry Housing Association staff and their comments include:
“Thanks - very good as the topic is very hard to train people in. Case studies and involvement make the training more interesting”
“I fully enjoyed the course and felt it has helped me a lot”
“Interesting, lively and informative”
“I now know what each tenancy means and what rights the tenants have”.
